Mr. Pederson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The University of Texas Medical Branch for nineteen years, retiring in 2006. Prior to that, he served as Vice President for Business Affairs at The University of Texas at San Antonio and The University of Texas at Dallas.
Mr. Pederson has served as a member of the Board of Directors of University National Bank of Galveston and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of United States National Bank of Galveston. Mr. Pederson was appointed to the board of the Texas Tomorrow Fund by Lt. Governor Bob Bullock, and served as a board member and chairman of the Finance Committee of the Texas Tomorrow Fund for ten years. Mr. Pederson currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of publicly traded National Western Life Insurance Company headquartered in Austin, Texas, and is a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Pederson is a native Texan. He was born in Floresville, Texas and grew up in Los Fresnos, Texas.

Bill is a successful business person and community leader who had a distinguished career at 3M and, after failing retirement, has been a not-for-profit executive and most recently was the Co-Founder & Vice Chairman of Treaty Oak Bank.
Bill had a distinguished career for over 30 years at 3M Company. Beginning as a summer intern, he worked his way through varied assignments and retired as Staff Vice President of 3M Austin Center. During his tenure, his achievements included the establishment of 3M's Health care business in Canada, and the formation of the Orthopedic Products Division, which he grew from start-up to a $200,000,000 global business - at that time the fastest growing business in 3M's history. He also served as Vice President and General Manager of the Health Care Specialties Division, which is the entry point of many of 3M's new high tech product introductions. During his tenure here, 3M Austin was the recipient of numerous awards for environmental excellence and innovation in alternative energy use, conservation, and the responsible development of their facilities. Following a short-lived retirement, Bill returned to work as the Executive Director of Lifeworks, an organization that was formed by the innovative merger of four social service agencies that served homeless youth and troubled families in addition to providing services for teen- age mothers and youth in transition. He implemented the merger, consolidated facilities and services and positioned the organization for exceptional growth. He then became CEO of the Austin Museum of Art and Laguna Gloria leading them through a troubled financial period before returning to the business world. In 2002 he became one of the founders and Vice Chairman of Treaty Oak Bank in Westlake, a newly created, rapidly growing, community bank serving Austin, Westlake and Marble Falls. Bill is the immediate past Chair of Envision Central Texas and presently serves as a board Member of St. David's Hospital, Austin Recovery Center, Mobile Loaves and Fishes and St. Edwards Business Advisory Council. In addition to numerous charitable and business awards, Bill was the 2005 recipient of the Ethics in Business Award.

Chip, a twenty-five year banker, has spent the last sixteen years managing community banks in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Bray, a twenty-five year banker, has spent the last sixteen years managing community banks in Austin, Texas. The first nine years of his career were spent focused on banking a variety of specialized industries, including energy, healthcare, and media primarily in the San Antonio, Cleveland and New York markets. More recently, while in Austin, he has developed similar levels of experience with the entertainment (film and music) and construction industries. Bray returned to Austin in 1991, where he had received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas, to join Liberty National Bank. As Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Liberty National Bank, Chip was a key member of the management team which shepherded the bank through tremendous growth (from < $50 million to $147 million) and a profitable sale to Norwest (ultimately Wells Fargo). In 1997, after a one year stint with Norwest, he took the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer with Life Savings Bank, a troubled Austin-based state savings bank. Life Savings was subsequently renamed Liberty Bank, and over the next seven years, Chip played an instrumental role in turning the bank around and growing it from $45 million to $176 million, ultimately making it an attractive acquisition target for Prosperity Bank. For the past three years, Bray has served as Banking Center President responsible for Prosperity's Downtown, Allandale and Oak Hill banking facilities. Chip's community involvement in Austin has included serving on the boards of Meals on Wheels and More, Austin Music Foundation, Austin Film Society, Scenic Austin and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Brandi Clark is a social entrepreneur, founder of the Austin EcoNetwork, Chair of Austin CarShare and a regular public speaker on issues related to green living and business.
Brandi grew up in Austin and is a graduate of Leadership Austin. She graduated from Yale University with a BA in Sociology with Political Science. In 1996 Brandi established Environmentality, Inc. Since then she has produced numerous city-wide and regional events, conducted marketing and outreach for leading Austin green businesses, and been a researcher, writer and editor for local and national directories such as the Austin Environmental Directory and the National Green Pages. She is the Founder of the Austin EcoNetwork as well as Co-Founder and Board Chair of Austin CarShare. She is a regular public speaker on green topics and has received honors such as the 2003 Keep Austin Beautiful Dennis Hobbs Individual Achievement Award and "Best Environmentalist" in the Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin 2007 Reader's Poll.

Joe is a senior executive with over 30 years experience in the financial services industry including internal control and accounting, operations, personnel and customer service.

Most recently, from 1999 to 2007, Joe has worked as the Executive Vice-President and Senior Operations Officer of The First national Bank of Bryan; an institution totaling $525 million in total assets. He has a BA in Mathematics from Texas A & I University in Kingsville, Texas and has attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware and the Texas Tech Intermediate School of Banking.

Most recently, Clare was a Senior Vice President, Retail Operations at Prosperity Bank, managing retail banking for the South Texas area. Prior to Prosperity Bank’s acquisition of Liberty Bank, she served as Assistant Cashier and managed retail banking for Liberty, a $176 million community bank. Clare has a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at UT, with an expected graduation date of May 2008.

Kelly has spent over 25 years leading non-profit organizations, including ten years as the executive director of SafePlace in Austin.
Ms. White has spent her entire adult life in public service, working on behalf of families, businesses, schools and communities. Throughout her career, she has been a highly successful fundraiser, raising over $40 million for SafePlace, Annie's List (where she was CEO), her own political campaign, and other not for profit organizations. As a not for profit executive, Kelly has spent over 25 years leading community based non-profit organizations, including ten years as the executive director of SafePlace in Austin, raising millions of dollars to build the world recognized SafePlace "Campus" with a 105-bed shelter, on-site school and day care center, 40-unit transitional housing apartment community, 20,000 square foot "Resource" Center and an award winning 185-unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit apartment community. Kelly now consults with various non-profit and for-profit organizations and businesses, volunteers on numerous non-profit boards, and speaks about non-profit management, women in leadership and domestic violence. She has received numerous awards, including the United Way/Capital Area Non-Profit Executive of the Year, the Austin Community Foundation Beverly Sheffield Executive Director of the Year, the Girl Scout's Women of Distinction, the ROSE Foundation's National Award for formerly battered women and Leadership Austin's Essential Alumni Award for 2007. In addition, SafePlace received the non-profit award for Ethics in Business in 2003 during Kelly's tenure as executive director. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Austin Community Foundation and the SafePlace Foundation. She is a graduate of Leadership Texas and the University of Kansas with a BS in Occupational Therapy.

Mel is a native Austinite who has dedicated her career to improving the lives of others through her work in the political and social service sectors.
A native Austinite, Mel holds B.A. and M.S.S.W. degrees from the University of Texas in Austin. She brings a wealth of experience working in the non-profit and political sector. She has put her passion for social justice to work at the Center for Battered Women (now SafePlace) and helped to start Insure-a-Kid, an organization dedicated to enrolling children in the Texas Children's Health Insurance Program. Mel's latest work has been in the political realm, including most recently the role of Deputy Director of Annie's List, an organization dedicated to electing progressive Democratic women to office in Texas. She has also served as District Director for Congressman Lloyd Doggett.

Bill has served in Austin-based banking executive positions for the past 25 years and has relished the benefits of living in a dynamic community which offers wide-ranging opportunities in business and daily life.
Bill Britton is a lifelong banker with over 30 years experience in banking, 14 of which he spent as the CEO and President of four different banks – beginning at the age of 28. He began his banking career in El Paso, after attending University of Texas at El Paso, and moved to Austin, TX in 1982 where he began as the President and CEO of Nation's Bank (now Bank of America). Also in Austin, Bill was an EVP and head of retail banking at Bank One, where he oversaw the acquisition and integration of a number of banks into the Bank One portfolio (now Chase). Additionally, he completed stints at Wells Fargo and Capital One, amongst others. He is a founding member of CTCAR and is active on a number of boards and organizations in the Austin community.
